Last night I finished Robert Galbraith’s (a.k.a. J.K. Rowling) The Cuckoo’s Calling. This book kept me up later than I wanted to be because I just could not put it down. The book pulls you in with the glamorous life of celebrities contrasted to Cormoran Strike’s not-so-glamorous life, but keeps you there with the mystery of Lula’s death.
If you haven’t read many crime/mystery type novels (not that I have), this seems like a great entry to the genre. Basically, go read it. I’m convinced Rowling knows how to make you tired the next day from the inability to stop reading her work the night before.
